New Group Marketing Co-Ordinator
Steel Storage would like to welcome its newest addition to the team, Ben Johnson has come on board as the Group Marketing Coordinator, overseeing marketing in Asia, Europe and Australasia. Ben has a Bachelor Degree in Business from QUT in Brisbane, with dual majors in Marketing and Management.
Ben has experience at a graphic design boutique in Brisbane, and is the Director of his own Marketing Consultancy, based in Brisbane, Australia.
Driving growth in Australia, Europe and Asia are key priorities, “With a US industry worth over US$18 Billion, the potential of the Self Storage industry in comparable markets the world over is very exciting. It is incredibly important that our communications within these markets are consistent and that we continue to promote the industry to world-wide audiences” says Ben.
New Chief Financial Officer
Kalvin Booth recently joined Steel Storage as our new Chief Financial Officer. He is a chartered accountant from Brisbane with over 20 years experience across a number of industries. After qualifying with KPMG, Kalvin then went to the UK and spent 14 years working in banking and private equity. Upon returning to Australia he spent nearly five years with Australian Agricultural Company.

New Project Manager
Jason Bensted has joined Steel Storage Australia in June of 2007. Jason has 20 years in the building industry in Australia and the US and UK. In recent years he has graduated with a degree in property economics and has been involved in the acquisition and project management of retail, commercial and residential property developments.
