Steel Storage co-sponsors art exhibition celebrating Australian indigenous art.

The exhibition, called Colour & Country, is a specially curates exhibition featuring two of Australia’s most exciting indigenous art centres – Tjanpi Desert Weavers and Kayili Artists.

This exhibition, held in Singapore, marks NAIDOC Week 2009. Named after the acronym for the National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee, NAIDOC Week is Australia’s annual celebration of our indigenous culture and indigenous
contribution to modern Australia.
 
The event is presented by the Australian High Commission and Aratong Galleries.
 
The exhibition runs from 29 June to 28 August 2009 and a celebratory evening at the High Commission on 28 July is planned for the organisers, the sponsors and selected guests.
